Under
Section 81 of the (Supply) Act, Members, officers and
servants of the Board are public servants. |

The
Board is required to submit to State Govt. Annual Financial
Statement, Statement of Accounts and-Annual Administration
Report every year. (Rule 53, 56 & 57 of the Electricity
(Supply) Rules, 1963) |

(I) |
The State Govt. by Resolution IE&L D.No.ESA-1693/CR/8794/NRG-1
dated 19th Feb. 1994 and in exercise of the powers conferred
by Section 16 (1) of the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948
has constituted Electricity Consultative Council for the
State of Maharashtra consisting of the following 14 Members
besides the Members of the Board. |

(II) |
Chairman
of the Board is ex-officio Chairman of the Council and
the Joint Secretary (Board) is appointed by the Board
to be ex-officio Secretary of the Council.
