MSEB:
INNOVATOR ALL THE WAY
- First
S.E.B. to conduct successful on line mock trials for Y2K
compliance with all agencies in the state power sector vis.
Tata, BEST & BSES.
- It is
the first SEB to set up a 752 Kms. 500 KV HVDC system from
Chandrapur to Padghe.
- The only
SEB to have 400 KV Ring Main System linking 400 KV substations
for bulk power transmission.
- First
SEB with fully computerised Load Despatch Centres at Kalwa
and Ambazari with RTVS for data collection all over the
state for supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
- First
SEB to introduce 'Time of Day' Tariff in 1997.

Maharashtra a leading state in Power Development. viz.
