FCA Calculations
expenditure towards fuel cost element of generation, though lower in May & dune 2000, is likely to go up to the estimated level during the course of the year. The increasing trend of the fuel cost of purrhase in June 2000 as compared to May 2000 (Statement 11-A) is also likely to be . an additional burden on the Board.
11 The Commission is therefore requested that the excess recovery during May & June 2000 may not be passed on to the consumers at this stage but may be considered for adjustment after tho next two reviews for the quarters ending September 2000 & December 2000.
12 MERC is requested to kindly consider, this proposal and approve the methodology so that MSEB will be in a position to work out the actual FCA rate,on month to month or quarter to quarter basis as may be approved and apply the same to its eligible consumer sectors.
