ONGOING THERMAL GENERATION PROJECTS OF MSEB : New Parli Thermal Project 250 MW Unit 1 : Order for supply &
erection of main plant equipment has been placed on M/s. BHEL on 14.01.04. Action for other packages is also in various stages
of progress. Engineering of main plant and site works are in
progress. This project is scheduled for synchronisation by
July 2006. Paras TPS Expansion (1 x 250 MW) : Order for supply & erection of main plant equipment has been placed on 25.05.04 on M/s. BHEL. Land award has been declared in April 04 and the land is expected to be taken in possession shortly. This project is scheduled for synchronisation in year 2006 – 07. Uran Gas Turbine Power Station Expansion (400 MW) : Consultancy services engaged. Environmental impact assessment report is being formulated by NEERI. Gas linkage is being explored. This project is considered for capacity addition in 10th Plan and is expected to be synchronized in year 2006 - 07. FUTURE PROPOSALS OF MSEB : MSEB intends to take
up implementation of the following extension/
expansion/ green-field projects
for capacity addition in 11th / 12th Five Year
