The Board has decided to add
the following conditions as conditions 33 (A)
in the booklet on "Conditions and Miscellaneous
Charges for supply of Electrical Energy".
"33 (A) Applicability of the provisions of the
agreement: Notwithstanding anything contained
herein or in the agreement executed by the consumer
with the Board, the supply of electricity to
the consumer under the agreement is liable to
be curtailed or staggered or cut off altogether
as may be ordered by Government under the indian
Electricity Act 1910, Bombay Electricity (Special
Powers) Act 1946 or any other enactment, as
amended from time to time and goverining the
supply and use of electricity and the rules
and regulations for the time being in force
thereunder"
In this connection it is to be further noted
that in the event a ceiling is placed by Government
on the Maximum Demand of the consumer, the Contract
Demand in the the agreement is to be restricted
to the Maximum Demand which Government may stipulate
till such time Government order withdrawal of
the same, in which case the original Contract
Demand is to come in force from the date of
intimation by Government of such withdrawal
of the control order.
