hae informed the Board that some field officers have
delayed the payment of inspection fees for inspecting
and testing work done by various area Electrical Inspectors
of the Board's installations and/or distribution lines.
the
Board under Resolution No.3900 dt.29th August'66 has
directed thatall the pending bills towards the amounts
due to Government on account of inspectionn fees should
be paid up, within a period of two months by the field
officers and also to note in future for prompt payment
of Government dues.
The
Board has further directed that when the Assistant
Electrical/Electrical Inspector directs in writing
for disconnection of supply to any consumer in the
Board's area of supply for the reason of non-payment
of inspection fees due form them to Government for
inspecting and testing consumers installations, action
to disconnect supply should be taken by the field
officer after giving the statutory notice of ~seen
clear days' to the consumers concerned stating that
it is reported by the Assistant Electrical/Electrical
Inspector that he ahs failed to pay the inspection
fees as demanded by the Assistant Electrical/Electrical
Inspector.
