NOTIFICATION
|
|
|
No:ELD.1 163/91424-Elec.,: In exercise
of the powers conferred by clause(b) of sub-section
(2) of section 12 of the Bombay Electricity Duty Act,
1958 (XL of 1958), the Government of Maharashtra hereby
makes the following amendment in the Bombay Electricity
Duty Rules,1962, the same having been previously published
as required by sub-section (3) of the said, section
12, namely:-

AMENDMENT:
|
| 1. |
These
rules may be called the Bombay Electricity Duty
(Amendment) Rules, 1963.
|
| 2. |
In Rule 5 of the Bombay Electricity Duty Rules,
1962' hereinafter referred to as the said rules
in clause(ii) for the words, figures and
letters " the 25th day ofthe month" the words,
figures and letters "the 25th day of the month
succeeding the month" shall be
substituted.

| 3. |
In
rule 9 of the said rules (a) in clause (a)
for the words, figures and letters"25th day of
the month succeeding" the words, figures
and letters
"the 25th day of the month succeeding the month
next following" shall be substituted. (b) in clause(b)
for the words,
figures and letters "before the 15th day of every
month showing the adjustment carried out in the
account of the previous month" the
words, figures and letters" before the 15th day
of every month succeeding the month to which it
relates, showing the adjustment
carried out in the account of that month" shall
be substituted.
