Information connected with Electricity Duty is being called for very often by Government. The statements of accounts received from the field offices at present do not contain this information so as to enable this office to furnish itto Government. Similarly, the details of net revenue billed every month are also required by this office.
  

        The Superintending Engineers, Nagpur and Amaravati (Where H.T. billing is done), the Executive Engineers in change of O&M Divisions and the Power Station Superintendents are requested to submit a monthly return hereafter to the commercial section in the proforma attahced herewith. As the entries in the consumers'General Ledgers are expected to be completed by the 10th of each month as per the prescribed procedure, it will not be difficult to submit this statement by the 15th. The statement in respect of the energy consumed during April and May 1963 and billed during May and June 1963 may be submitted immediately. Arrangements may also be made for its despatch on or before the 15th of every month.
