Maharashtra State Electricity Board,

Mercantile Bank Building, Fort.

Bombay-23.

Date: 26th Jan. 1964.

Departmental Circular No. 42
(Commercial)

Sub :
Execution of Agreements with the consumers.

It has been reported by Government Auditorsthat even though supply of electrical energy commenced to some of the HighTesion and LowTension consumers in 1961 and 1962, the necessary agreements were not executed with them. It is feared that non- execution of agreements might result in subsequent disputes regarding the terms of supply. All the field officers are, therefore, requested to ensure that agreements with all the consumers are now finalised without any delay and that in future this is attended to promptly.

Further, copies of agreements executed with the H.T. consumers by the Circle Off ices may be forwarde to the Divisional Offices where the billing of High Tension Consumers is done, in order to ensure billing correctly in accordance with the terms of the Agreement. Whenever so requiredd by them, copies of these Agreements should be made available to teh Government Auditors to verify, on the spot implimentation of the terms of the agreements.
