Sub  : Minimim period of supply and Security Deposit of
energy supplied by the Board to its employees.

       The Board vide its Resolution No. 2303, dated 28-1-1964 has approved that the condition regarding the initial minimum period of 2 years for taking a connection for electric supply from the Board would not applicable to the Board's employees who are on trasferable services. This decision would be effective from the same date as approved for the Government employees whose services are transferable as per the Commercial Code of Instructions.

      The Board also approve to grant exemption to the Board's employees from payment of Security Deposity for electric supply provided they have been in the service of the Board for atleast 2 years. The Board has, however, directed that it would be the responsibility of the concerned officers who should exercise porper care regarding suitable timely action towards recovery of dues on account of electricity bills not paid by the employees.................
