It has been decided to incorporate the clause regarding "Discontinuance of Supply" in the L.T. agreement form similar to clause 11 provided in the H.T. agreement form to ensure the Boards rights regarding recovery of minimum gurantee and make it legally secure.

The following clause should appear as clause 7 (a) before clause 8 (a) in the L.T. agreement form.

7(a)

"In the event of the supply of electrical Energy being discontinued by the supplier in consequence of any breach or default on the part of the consumer the supplier so to do under the provision of the Act and  the Rules, the amount of charges for the electrical  energy already supplied and all other moneys then  payable under this Agreement shall become due and recoverable forthwith provided always and it is hereby expressly agreed and declared that during the period of such discontinuance the consumer shall continue to pay the minimum charges and minimum gurantee pay-able hereunder.

All the field officers are therefore requested to see that the above clause is added as clause 7(a) in the L.T. agreements.
