Dated: 17th September'1965.

Departmental Circular No. 75
(Commercial)

Sub  :
Insurance of Board's equipments give on hire.

A reference is invited to the Departmental Circular No.69 (Commercial) issued vide this off ice No. PH-5/26296 dated 29-4- 1965 under which all the Board's Officers were requested to continue the existing procedure of insuring of equipment given on hire by the Board and recovering the premium from the consumer.

Instances have however come to our notice that some officers have arranged with the Insurance Officer to send the insurance premium bills direct to the consumers for making payments. This is not In order.

It is therefore, requested that a uniform procedure viz. insuring of eq ' uIpment given on hire by the Board and payment of premiume thereof initially by the Board and subsequently recovering the same from the consumers through the "Hire bills" should be strictly followed by all the officers of the Board.
