Deaprtmental Circular No.81

 

"For every unit of onergy consumed in a month 10 P. per unit".

(c) in PART C, for he figure and letters 11 2 nP" the figure and letter" 3 nP" shall be substituted;

(d) in PART-D for clauses (a) and (b), the following shall be substituted, namely:

Rs. 5 per month per 100 watts of connected supply, subject to a minimum duty of Rs. 10 per month per installation".

(e) in PART-G in clause (d), for the figure and letters "3 nP" the figure and letter" 5 nP" shall be substituted.

Clause 9:

In the Maharashtra Tax on Sale of Electricity Act, 1963 in section 3, for the words" one quarter of a naya paisa" the words " one half of a paisa" shall be substituted. Copy of Government Notification dt. 30.12.65 is attached.

The rates of electricity duty specified in the schedule to the Bombay Electricity Duty Act. 1958, have been revised under section 3 of the Maharasntra Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 1965.
