In modification of the Departmenal Circular No. 28 (Commercial) Issued vide this off ice letter No. PR-3/20060 dated 2nd May 1963 vide which the tariff for supply at High Tension to non- industrial consumers such as educational institutions, Hospitals, etc. was specified, this is to state that with the revisin of H.T. tariffs by the Board vide its resolution No. 3451 dated: 22nd October 1965 with effect from 1 st January' 1966, the tariff for supply at High Tension to the non-industrial consumers would comprise of the damand charge as specified under the tariff HTP- 1 applicable for supply to the High Tension Industrial consumers and the energy charge as specified for other lighting under tariff HTP-1 viz. 12 paise per unit consumed. It would be to subject to fuel surcharge wherever applicable such as under the steam thermal tariff.

The ravised taxiff should be made applicable only after giving one month's notice to concerned existing consumers.
