4) Care should be taken to workout the coal clause adujstment charge properly at the revised method. It is observed that some of the Divisional Officers are applying to teh old method or adjustment even for bills fro the month of March and April. Also as already stated, in the case the bills are issed in the old'proforma the fuel adjustment clause is to be suitabaly modified after cancelling out the inappropriate portions.
5) Arrears: in case of a consumer fails to pay his monthly bill in due time and falls into arrears, a notice of disconnection under (3-24 (1) of the I. E. Act, 1910 should be served alongwith the next monthly bill asking- him to clear out the arrears. If the consumer fails to clear the arreas within the Notice period to be reiterated that such a "Notice" should be given in the proforma for this prupose so as to avoid any furthr dispute with the consumers about its validity. In case it becomes necessary to issue a notice separately the encloused proforma may be adopted. On discontinuing supply supply necessary steps to recover the amounts due by means of legal action should be taken promptly where necessary.
6) All the field officers are requested to sent the copies of monthly bills to this off ice in a bunch duly filed together wiht a list stating the names of the consumers etc. in a covering letter stating the names of the consurners who have exceeded their contract demand and those in arrears and action that is being taken in such cases.
7) In the case of bills for seasonal consumers the name should be state below the names of the tariff at which the supply is being made
8) All the field officers are requested to take a note of the above and follow the same without fail.
