Departmental Circular No. 95
 

Whereas the Supplier and the consumer have mutually agreed that the Supplier shall provide, erect and maintain street lighting installation at consumer's cost and supply electrical energy on the roads within the precincts of the premises of the consumer, more particularly described in the plan annexed hereto for the period and upon terms and conditions hereinafter contained.

Now therefore, these presents withness and it is hereby agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows:

1 )

THE Supplier shall provide and erect at the cost of the consumer street lighting installation as required by the consumer initially consisting of ______________
 fixtures and also carryout any
vice.   subsequent additions to the same at the cost of and as required by the consumer from time to time for which the amounts shall be payable in advance subject to adjustment on completion of the work on the bais of the actual cost of materials and labour plus 15% for supervision on the agregate.  

While the supplier shall carry out normal repairs and maintenance of the street lighting system, any repairs involving renewal or replacement of wires or any fixtures or part there of or any equipment shall be carried out at the cost of the consumer in advance. The amount payable in advance for capital works or renewal or replacements other than lamp replacements shall be based on the cost of materials and labour plus 15% for supervision. 

If the Consumer desires to have the Discharge Vapour lamps on any poles, the same will be provided on the terms and conditions specified in Schedule'c' hereto which shall be deemed to be a part of thiss Agreement. The terms and conditions for ornamental poles/fittings or underground mains shall be same as for discharge vapour lamps detailed  in schedule 'C' annexed hereto.

Size of Lamps used. 2)

All lamps fitted under this agreement shall be of 25

Watts or higher capacity at the option of the consumer.
