Clarifications and instructions regarding the use and execution of agreement forms for different types of consumers:

While the revised agreement form for L.T. supply is now printed, the revised form of agreement for H.T. supply is yet to be printed. Therefore while executing any agreements in the old forms, H.T. or L.T. already in stock and already stamped, the following points need to be complied with before execution of an agreement.

1. Preamble: Signatory portion (Both H.T. and L.T. forms)

1)

In the preamble and signatory portion of the agreement forms for H.T. as well as L.T. supply, in the space provided for the consumer's name, he should disclose his full identity by stating his name and corporate nature i.e. whether an individual, firm corporation, educational institution, etc., etc.

2)

Similarly, in the space provided in the second paragraph of the preamble for the purpose for which the power is required, the consumer should state specifically the purpose for which the power is required i.e. whether it is required for a textile mill, oil mill for manufacture of edible oil or non-edible oil Le for crushing cotton seeds etc., ginning and pressing factory, Flour mill, workshop, foundry, or for manufacture of any foods or articles as prescribed in the loan sanction order of Govt. or other competent authority. It is very essential to specify in the agreement the purpose for which the power is sanctioned so that would be no possibility of a consumer utilizing the power sanctioned for one purpose for any other purpose without obtaining due authority for the same.
