The
present delegation of powers regarding permission
for installation of private generating sets, approved
by the Board vide Resolution No. 1723 dt. 10-6-1979
was communicated to field offices vide Departmental
Circular (Comm.) No. 333 issued vide letter No. PG-56/024576
dt. 23-5-1979.
The
Board vide its Resolution No.83 dt. 11-9-1979 has
redelegated these powers as follows:

While
granting N.O.C. for installation of private generating
sets, the Board requires an application from the consumers
in the prescribed proforma enclosed herewith. The
application should be made on their letter head and
acceptance to our conditions under Sr. 5 of the Proforma
should be conveyed to this office by reproducing the
same in toto. Whenever a consumer approaches the field
offices, he may be given a copy of this proforma and
guided properly and they may be asked to apply to
Head Office directly giving all the information as
per the proforma to avoid delay in correspondence.
