 Sub :  Permission for installing the Diesel Generating Set.
Ref  : Your letter No.                             dt.                 .

Dear Sirs,

With reference to the above you are requested to furnish the following details for considering your request.

1.

Capacity of the set that is to be installed and the place of installation.

 2.

Name of Licensee from whom you receive your electric supply.

3.

Contract demand agreed with the Licensee/Load sanctioned to you in terms of C.L. & M.D. Please attach a copy of the application if any made for additional load.

4.

Total capacity of diesel generating sets for which permission is obtained previously.

5.

Whether it is to be as a stand-by in case of failure of Board's supply.

6.

Whether it is meant to augument the production.

7.

Whether it is to be operated when any power cut is in force and exceeds  ________% of your sanctioned demand/energy.

8.

Written undertaking to the effect as follows :

a)

We will agree and undertake to operate the Generating set whenever required by the Board when any power cut is prescribed by Government or otherwise. Failure to do so shall entitle the Board to effect corresponding reduction in our basic quota of demand and energy.

b)

We will not claim any relief on account of our running the diesel generating sets.

c)

We will inform the date of commissioning of the set to the Board.

d)

We will not run the set in parallel with the Board's/Licensee's supply, unless otherwise agreed to by us/them.

e)

Further as per Govt. Order No.SAC.1975/NRG-6 dt. 15-12-75, if we do not generate full power output from our generating sets during peak hours from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. then we shall be subject to a higher cut in our permitted M.D. to the extent of the capacity of our generating sets.
