Departmental Circular No. 355

Sub  : Powers delegated by Govt. to the licensees for sanction of load.


          Government vide order No. SAC-1979/4470/CR/NRG-2 dt. 1.8.1980 has issued revised order delegating powers to the licensees for load sanction. It may please be noted that the powers are given to sanction load in terms of connected load. Further this is to state that the powers are given inclusive of existing connected load. The corresponding M.D. to be sanctioned should be determined by taking into consideration the load factor, diversity factor etc. and in no case should the load factor and diversity factor etc. and in no case should the load factor and diversity factor exceed 0.9. Load should be sanctioned only after compliance of necessary formalities by the consumer.

          Copy of Government order dt. 1.8.1980 alongwith its accompaniments are enclosed for information and necessary action accordingly.
