The
revised delegation of powers regarding commercial
matters have been intimated to all the field officers
underthe Departmental Circular (Com) No. 333 dt. 23.5.79.
Under
Item X(c), of the schedule attached to the said circular,
the field officers have beer, delegated powers for
grant of instalments for payment of outstanding energy
bills for six monthly billed consumers. While considering
the question of grant of instalments to agricultural
consumers, it was observed that as this category of
consumers is billed every six months normally, the
instalments desired by them are also six monthly.
They are unable to pay every month and as such the
delegation of powers in respect of six monthly instalments
vide Item X(c) is considered inadequate.
The
Board, therefore, vide its resolution No. 754 dt.
13.10.80 has accorded its approval to modify the delegation
of powers to Item X(c) as follows:;-
