(Special Powers)
Act,1946
|
No. SAC 1986/CR/5194/NRG-1 In exercise of the
Powers conferred by clause (a) of sub section
(1) of section 6A of the Bombay Electricity (Special
Powers) Act, 1946, (Bom XX of 1946) and in supersession
of Government Order No.SAC 1970/4470/CR-NRG-2,
dated 1 st August 1960, the Government of Maharashtra
herebydirects that no licensee supplying electrical
energy in the areas specified in column 2 of the
schedule hereto in the Districts specified against
them in column 1 of the said schedule shall, without
the previous sanction of the state Government,
supply electrical energy for industrial purposes
to any existing or new consumers in these areas
in excess of the limits respectively specified
against the said areas in column 3 of the said
schedule.

Explanation:-
For purpose of this order:

(a)"existing
consumer" means a consumer who was receiving electrical
energyfromany licensee immediately before the
date of this order;

means a consumer who was not receiving any supplyof
energyfrom any licensee immediately before the
date of this order.
