ORDER

Bombay EIectricity
(Special Powers)
Act,1946
  

No. SAC 1986/CR/5194/NRG-1 In exercise of the Powers conferred by clause (a) of sub section (1) of section 6A of the Bombay Electricity (Special Powers) Act, 1946, (Bom XX of 1946) and in supersession of Government Order No.SAC 1970/4470/CR-NRG-2, dated 1 st August 1960, the Government of Maharashtra herebydirects that no licensee supplying electrical energy in the areas specified in column 2 of the schedule hereto in the Districts specified against them in column 1 of the said schedule shall, without the previous sanction of the state Government, supply electrical energy for industrial purposes to any existing or new consumers in these areas in excess of the limits respectively specified against the said areas in column 3 of the said schedule.

Area falling within Bombay Metropolitan Region (i.e.B.M.R. as defined in schedule I to the Bombay Metropolitan Region Authority Act 1974, as amended from time to time.
  

Upto 100 kW connected load inclusive of existing load, if any.

Area failing outside Bombay Metro-politan Region

2,500 kVA Maximum as Demand inclusive of existing M.D. if any.

Pune (i)

Area falling within the Pune Metropolitan Region as defined in Government Notification, Urban Development and Public Health Department No. RPP-067/10963-M, dated 7th July 1967and No. RPP-1068/13175-M dated 29th May 1968 as amended from time to time.
  

Upto 100 kW connected load inclusive of existing load, if any.

  (ii) Area failing outside Pune Metropolitan Region.

Upto 2,500 kVA Maximum Demand inclusive of existing M.D. if any.
 

Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Nashik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar, Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Kolhapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Nanded, Osmanabad, Latur, Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Yeotmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli.
  
  Entire Area Upto 2,500 kVA Maximum Demand inclusive of existing M.D. if any.
  

Explanation:- For purpose of this order:

(a)"existing consumer" means a consumer who was receiving electrical energyfromany licensee immediately before the date of this order;
(b)"newconsumer" means a consumer who was not receiving any supplyof energyfrom any licensee immediately before the date of this order.
