............The Board vide its B.R. No. 826 dt. 19.11.87 has approved that the agricultural consumers may be informed that the option currently exercised by them and in force will continue as long as the optional tariff is in force and if they desire to change the option, they are permitted to do so w.e.f. 1 st October of any year after giving prior notice of two months i.e. by giving notice before 31 st July in any year.

............The Board has also further directed that the above decision should be given wide publicity through local news papers by the Zonal Chief Engineers. A draft public notice to be issued by the Zonal Chief Engineers is on overleaf for necessary action.
