Recovery of charges from consumers while releasing power supply - correct nomenclature for
  

............Service line charge by way of non-refundable contribution are recovered from all consumers while releasing power supply to them as per the condition of Supply in force and in accordance with the instructions issued in that respect. However, it is seen that while doing so, the field officers are using different nomenclatures in their demand notes. In order to avoid any complications, it is essential that uniform nomenclature is used as per condition of supply to denote such recoveries. Therefore, all are requested to make the demand under the head 'Service Line Charges' and the entire amount so received shall be credited under the account head C. R.A. as per the usual practice. Therefore, the demand note issued to a consumer shall indicate only:
  

1.	Service connection charges :- Fixed charges.
2.	Service line charge
3.	Security Deposit
4.	Stamp charges for agreement.
............3. Service line charges will include all the charges for the line upto the consumers premises including the average/ standard costs towards providing/augmenting, infrastructure system, etc. ............All are requested to take note of the above and ensure that correct demand notes are issued.
