DEPARTMENTAL CIRCULAR (COMMERCIAL) NO. 679

Subject:           Release of power supply on priority basis to agricultural consumers.

“KRISHI – VIKAS 2003 SCHEME” & “KRISHI – VIKAS 2003 (5 – 15 HP) SCHEME ---- Extension of time limit thereof.

            In order to facilitate the agricultural consumers to get the power supply expeditiously, the Board has introduced two schemes, namely “KRISHI – VIKAS 2003 SCHEME” applicable for agricultural consumers having connected load up to & including 5 HP and “KRISHI – VIKAS 2003 (5 – 15 HP) SCHEME” applicable for agricultural consumers having connected load more than 5 HP, but up to & including 15 HP. The salient features of both these schemes have been informed to all the concerned filed offices vide the Circulars referred at sr. no. 1 & 2 above respectively.

            It is now decided that the agricultural consumer, who so ever registers his demand for benefit of said both the schemes up to 31/07/2003 should be considered as eligible for the said schemes. However, it should be noted that, all other conditions / provisions of both the schemes shall remain unchanged.

            All the filed officers are requested to take due note of the modification as above and should ensure effective implementation of the schemes.
