            Sub:  Reconnection of disconnected Agricultural pumps.

During the meeting with Hon’ble Energy Minister, Chairman, Secretary (Energy), T.M.(T&D) and T.D.(EHVP,COMM.&TRC) on dated 9^th September 2003, the matter of reconnection of Agricultural pumps which are presently disconnected was discussed. It was decided to reconnect the agricultural pumps which are under disconnection for non-payment of energy bills, after paying 20% Gross bill as on 31.3.2003. Balance amount of arrears is to be paid in instalments as follows:-

10% per month or 30% per quarter in addition to future current bills.

DPC & interest as per rules. Concerned incharge of billing unit A.E./

Dy.E.E. shall grant instalment as above and inform to consumer accordingly.

Please inform accordingly to all field offices under your jurisdiction and comply.
