28. System of the supply :

The Board's declared pressure of supply shall be generally as follows :
1. Low Tension Supplies:
a) Alternating current - 50 cycles per second
i). Single phase 230/240 volts between phase and neutral.
ii). Three phase 400/415 volts between phase.

**2. High Tension Supplies :

Alternating current, 3 phase 50 cycles 6,600, 11,000, 22,000 or 33,000 volts between phases. For large loads supply may also be given at 66,000 volts or higher voltage according to the convenience of the Board. High Tension supply at pressures other than specified may be arranged and decleared in writing in the consumers agreement. Supply for lighting and small motive power purposes will be at low tension and for large power where monthly maximum demand exceed 50 KW/KVA for bulk requirement, the supply will be at high tension.

However, the L. T. Insucltrial consumers at their option will be allowed to avail LT supply upto 100 HP subject to following conditions :

i). This will be an option to the L. T. Industrial consumer.

ii).

The consumer has to pay normative SL charges for addl. load over and above their existing load as per prevailing rules from time to time. iii) The consumer should install LT maximum demand meter at his own cost. The meter should record 'KVA'demand also on the meter. Upto 50 KVA demand, the consumer will have to pay the energy bills as per the LT tariff applicable from time to time. It means that as long as he is within 50 KVA for all purposes he will be in slab of 21 to 67 HR In stray cases where the demand exceeds 67 HP equivalent 50 KVA, the demand charges given below will be applicable and unit charges will be applicable as per tariff above 67 HR.

In case consumer exceeds the 50 KVA demand, then for the excess MID recorded over and above 50 KVA, consumer will have to pay:

1.

Rs. 100/KVA/M (in addition to LT fixed charges applicable from time to time. Presently they are Rs. 25 per HP per month), for areas covered in Tariff HTR 1.

2.

Consumers in the areas covered under HTR 2 tariff will have to pay Rs. 85/- per KVA (in addition to fixed charges applicable from time to time. Presently, Rs. 25/HP/M). These rates are prevailing rates an~ which change according to tariff revision from time to time.
