4. Service lines : 

 
h)

If after commencing the service a consumer requires an additional load and if for the supply of additional power, the service requires to be strengthened, the entire cost of such strengthening shall be borne by the consumer on the basis of the cost plus 15% for supervision.

i) Where in any area in which no supply facility is existing and for which a scheme is in force or is to be framed it sufficient number of applications for supply are received together, with cost of providing facilities for such supply, the Board may sanction electrification of such area on compliance by the applicant or the intending consumer with the terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Board. The sanction and implementation of the scheme will be decided by the Board at its own discretion where sufficient number of applications as provided above are available together with the finances from other sources and the Board considers the shceme viable. In case the scheme does not become viable the said applications shall be treated as cancelled and the amounts recovered shall be refunded. In having such schemes the Board reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions to be prescribed having regard to the class of consumers or the economic conditions prevailing in the area.
