Serviceline charges for agricultural pumping roads:
a) General :
i)
Supply for agricultural pumping purposes shall be given for
a minimum of 2 H. R of connected load, if any load of less than
2 H. P. is required by any consumer for agricultural purposes,
he shall be required to pay for energy charges and minimum bill
and minimum guarantee on the basis as if a load of 2 H. R was
connected.
ii)
If any consumer having a connected load of less than 2 H~ R
for agricultural pumping desires to be charged on the basis
of his actual connected load which shall not be loss than 1
H. R he shall be charged accordingly on condition that he will
not get the benefit of free length upto 300 metres available
to other agricultural pumping consumers and shall be entitled
to a free allowance upto 150 metres only.
iii)
Rural transformer sub-station will be set up as per schemes
proposed and approved for execution of such works.

iv) Supply for agricultural pumping purposes will be given in
accordance with the terms and conditions prescribed hereunder.
In all cases, 4 the service line cannot be terminated on any
fixed structure of the consumer such as building and it becomes
necessary to install at terminal pole which should not be more
than 7.5 metres away from the premises the cost of the same
shall be payable by the consumer at a fixed charge @ Rs. 500/-
per PSC pole and @ Rs. 12001- per RSJ pole which include the
cost of erection & supervision also.

v) In case of power supply to the agricultural pump sets which
are provided on 100% subsidy basis to the tribals by the Tribal
Welfare Department of Government of Maharashtra, a free length
allowance of upto 600 meters shall be allowed subject to technical
feasibility and considering the factors like voltage regulation,
transformer loading, etc.
b)
Supply from Existing Rural Transformer sub-Station
I) Overhead Service Line :
In the case of bonaficle agricultural
pumping loads, the Board provides overhead service line free
of cost upto 300 metres from the nearest distributing point
i. e. from an existing rural transformer sub-station, or from
a service line already laid for supply to any other consumer,
provided the latter has sufficient current capacity. Any length
in excess of the free length as detailed above is payable at
the rates given below which include the cost of the pole except
the cost of the terminal pole at the consumer's end. Consumer
has also to pay fixed charges as given below to cover the cost
of that portion of the service line which is laid in G. 1. Pipe
or in conduit on the consumer's premises from the terminal point
of the overhead mains upto the meter installed.
