7. Service Line Charges For High Tension/Extra High Tension Supply

*i) a) The consumer/s shall pay on demand as (non-refundable) service connection charges, the amounts to meet the total cost (with fifteen percents overhead charges) of works involved in effecting the supply facilities, and in extending the supply lines at prescribed voltage upto the point of supply which, in the opinion of the Board is technically suitable for such purposes, considering the nature, quantum and geographical situation of the load demanded by the consumers.

b) A High Tension/Extra Hlgh Tension consumer is required to execute an agreement with the Board binding himself to take supply for a period of seven years.


c) Every consumer will have to agree to pay the annual minimum guaranteed' revenue equivalent to 20% return on the amount of the investment of the Board for a period of not less than 7 years from the date of declaration of the availability of the supply.


**a) The consumer who has contributed the estimated capital cost of works of extending power supply as per condition No. 7 (i) (a) above such consumers will have to pay the annual guaranteed revenue return equivalent to 20% on the amount of estimated capital cost for the period of not less than 2 years f rorn the date of declaration of the availibility of the power supply.

** b) However, in case of consumers who have paid the estimated cost on the basis of terms other than 7 (i) above will have to agree to pay annual minimum guaranted revenue equivalent to 20% return for a period of not less than 7 years from the date of declaration of the availability of the supply.
