7. Service line charges for high tension/extra high tension supply

ii) If a consumer desires supply of small quantum of power for purposes of construction of his factory before going into regular production, the Board may allow this facility on condition that he executes a separate agreement for supply of construction power and at the same time another agreement for supply of power for regular production purposes.

     The period of agreement for construction power shall be 7 years from the date of commencement of supply or till the date of commencement of supply for regular production purposes, whichever is earlier. The period of agreement for regular supply, shall be 7 years from the date of commencement for regular production purposes.

     In the case of the consumers where the supply is given for construction power f rom the same line as laid for subsequent regular supply, they may be allowed the facility of not being required to pay for the minimum gurantee based on 20% return during the construction period.

The supply of construction power shall be governed by the condition 7 (i) above.

iii) Where a consumer requires supply at High Tension purely on temporary basis for any project construction or similar other purpose, the Board may subject to availibility of power give such temporary supply on the following conditions :

a) The period of agreement to be executed shall be as required by the consumer.

b) The consumer shall pay in advance the full cost of providing the facility of electric supply.

c) The amount so paid shall be adjusted on completion of the agreement when the consumer would be allowed a credit for the cost of the line after deducting for the dismantling charges including 15% for supervision and after allowing for depreciation for the materials and equipments at the rate at 25% of the original cost for the first year or part thereof and 1 % for each subsequent month or part thereof. Such consumers would not be required to pay any minimum guarantee charge except the tariff minimum during the period of the contract.

iv) Standard tariffs as prescribed by the Board from time to time applicable to similar class of consumers would apply for supply in the cases (ii) and (iii) above.

*v) Every High Tension / Extra High Tension Consumer shall pay the following (non refundable) fixed service connection charges over and above the amount to be paid as per condition 7 (i) for new loads demanded by him and in case of additional load only to the extent of the new demand i. e. excluding load already connected.
