INVITATION FOR BID

(LOCAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING)

 

1.0              Bids are invited for the works of mentioned herein each for New Parli Thermal Project, Unit - 1 & Paras T.P.S. Expansion Project, Unit - 1 (250 MW - each)

 

2.0            SCOPE OF WORK:

 

Design, engineering, manufacture, supply, packing into properly sized units shipping and delivery to site, receipt, handling and storage at site, civil works, erection, testing, commissioning and handing over of 2 Nos. of Passenger Elevators and 1 No. Passenger cum Goods Elevator each for New Parli Thermal Project, 250 MW, Unit –1(Part – A) and Paras T.P.S. Expansion Project, 250 MW, Unit-1 (Part – B)

4.0              QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS OF BIDDERS: 

 

4.1       The Bidder will be Qualified in accordance with the requirements set out in Volume – 1, section 1A as SCHEDULE – I. Bid is open for participation of the bidders who satisfy the requirements with documentary evidence as elaborated in Volume – 1, section 1A

 

4.2       The Bidders shall be required to

 

a)                  Submit a bid security equivalent of Rs. 3,10,000/- (Rupees Three lakh Ten Thousand only) along with the bid Validity of the bid security shall be up to 210 days from the date of opening of cover No.1 of the bid. 

b)                 Submit a Contract Performance Security equivalent to 10% of the contract price in the event of contract being awarded to him and

 

c)                  Keep his offer valid for acceptance for at least 180 days from the date of bid opening, as prescribed by the Owner.

 

5.0              Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from, inspect the bidding documents at and obtain the same from the office of Chief Engineer (Gen.P&P) from14.00 hrs. to 16.00 hrs. on all working days during the sale period as mentioned above on payment of the specified amount by crossed Demand Draft payable to “MAHARASHTRA STATE POWER GENERATION COMPANY LIMITED” Mumbai and furnishing the cash receipt to Chief Engineer (Gen.P&P), MSPGCL, 3^rd floor, Prakashgad, Bandra (East), Mumbai –400 051 with a requisition request letter for Bid Documents giving complete postal address of the Bidder.

 

6.0              The bid documents once purchased shall not be taken back nor transferred in any other name/entity whatsoever under any circumstances. As such, the representative of the Bidder’s firm; shall ensure and confirm for himself, the requirements and scope of works vis a vis the Qualifying Criteria set for eligibility of the bidder for participation in the bid process; before purchasing the bid documents.

 

7.0              The Owner / MSPGCL does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any of the bids. The Purchaser reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids without assigning any reasons.
