Sump Pumps

 

1)                  Bids are invited for the works of  Sump Pumps for New Parli Thermal Power Project

Unit –1  (250 MW) and Paras TPS Expansion Unit –1, (250 MW )

 

2)         Scope of Work                                    :           Design, engineering, ,manufacture,

                                                                                    supply, ,erection,testing, & commissioning

                                                                                    of sump pumps  with all accessories and

                                                                                    auxiliaries alongwith supply of mandatory

                                                                                    spares as prescribed in the bid document.

 

3)         Bid Specification No.                           :           DG/PRL-PRS/250 MW/Sump Pumps/PM-17

 

Cost of one set of bid documents      :           IndianRs.4,000/-Non -refundable.

Period of sale of bid documents         :           From   29.08.2005  To  09.09.2005     

Pre bid Conference on                        :           13.09.05           at  11.00 Hrs.

Last date and time for receipt of bids             23.09.05           up to 12.30 Hrs.

Date and time for opening of bids     : Cover No. One: 23.09.05 at 14.30Hrs.

4)         QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

 

The  bid is open for participation  to those Bidders who  satisfy  the following requirements :

 

1.1       a)         The bidder shall be necessarily a pump manufacturer. The Bidder has

to satisfactorily establish, with documentary evidence that he has designed, Manufactured, tested and commissioned the following pumps:

 

i)                    At least 2 nos. vertical wet pit sump pumps having each of capacity 25 M³/hr

or more.

ii)                   At least 2 nos  horizontal centrifugal pump having each of capacity 5M³/hr or

more.

iii)                 At least 2 nos of submersible motor type sump pump having each of capacity

of 25 M³/hr or  more.

 

which are in successful operation for past 2 years as reckoned on the date set for opening of bid.

 

OR

 

a)                  The bidder,   shall   be  Authorised  representative of such pump manufacturer

who fulfils the criteria specified at 1.1  a) above and on furnishing the necessary documents to establish that he is an authorised representative of the pump manufacturer.

 

1.2       The bidder should have average annual turnover of Rs. 32 lakhs for the last three   consecutive   years.

 

 

 

 

 

5.0       Bids not fulfilling the qualifying requirements specified above & not accompanied with the prescribed bid security shall be summarily rejected.  The bidder shall submit the bid security equivalent to Indian Rupees 80,000/- (Indian Rupees Eighty thousand  only) alongwith the bid, valid till 210 days from the date of opening of Cover No. One of the bid. Interested eligible bidders may obtain the bid from the office of the Chief Engineer (Gen.P&P) from 14.00 Hrs. to 16.00 Hrs. on payment of the specified amount by crossed demand draft payable to, MSEB., Prakashgad, 2^nd floor, Bandra (East), Mumbai-400 051 and furnishing the cash receipt to Chief Engineer (Gen.P&P) on 3^rd Floor with an appropriate authorisation & a requisition for bid documents giving complete postal address of the bidder.  MSPGCL shall not be responsible for any postal delay, if desired by post. MSPGCL  does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any of the bids. MSEB reserves the right to reject any bid or all bids without assigning any reason thereof.
