INVITATION FOR BID

(LOCAL COMPETITIVE BIDDING)

1.         Bids are invited for the works of Ventilation system for New Parli Thermal Project Unit – 1, 1x250 MW and Paras Thermal Power Station Expn. U-1, 1x250 MW

2.            SCOPE OF WORK:

Design, engineering, manufacture, supply, delivery to site, receipt, handling & storage at site, erection, testing, commissioning and handing over of Ventilation System with all accessories, auxiliaries alongwith supply of mandatory spares as prescribed in the bid documents.

Cost of one set of bid documents            :            Indian Rs.15, 000/-Non –refundable.

Period of sale of bid documents            :            From 08.06.2005 To 20.06.2005

Pre Bid Conference                             :            28.06.2005

Last date and time for receipt of bids            :            12.07.2005 up to 12.30 Hrs.

Due date and time for opening of bids: Cover No. One 12.07.2005   –14.30Hrs. Cover No. Two – will be intimated later.

Queries, if any, are to be asked in writing on or before 27.06.2005

4.0        QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS:

4.1       The bid is open for participation to those bidder who satisfy the following requirements:

Bidder should have designed, manufactured / supplied, erected, tested and             commissioned following ventilation equipments / system in a thermal power station  / heavy steel industries / oil refineries  

(i)                 Two (2) nos. of Air Washing Units each of  capacity minimum 80000 M³/ hr.

(ii)                Twenty (20) nos. Roof Extractor Units each of capacity minimum 20000 M³/hr.

(iii)              Two (2) nos. Unitary Air Filtration System each of capacity minimum 40000M³/hr.

4.2              The above ventilation system should have been in successful operation for at least two (2) years on the date set for opening of bid.

4.3              The average turnover during lasts three years shall not be less than Rs. 320 lakhs.

For the purpose of qualification, the experience at (i), (ii) & (iii) above in separate plant

also permissible.

5.0             Interested bidders may obtain bid documents from office of Chief Engineer (Gen.P&P) from 14.00 Hrs. to 16.00 Hrs. on payment of specified amount by crossed demand draft payable to “Maharashtra State Electricity Board ” at Mumbai and furnishing cash receipt to Chief Engineer (Gen.P&P) Bandra (East), Mumbai-400 051 with appropriate authorisation & requisition for bid documents giving complete postal address of bidder.
