INVITATION FOR BID FOR SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF SERVERS, COMPUTERS AND PRINTERS AT MAHAGENCO POWER GENERATION STATIONS.
[LOCAL COMPETITIVE BID]
1.0 Proposal is invited by Maharashtra State Generation Company Ltd. for the supply, installation and commissioning of servers, computers, printers and peripherals at Power Generation Stations of MAHAGENCO.
2.0 Scope of Work :
Supply, receipt, handling and storage at site, installation, testing and commissioning of the servers, computers, printers and peripherals at MAHAGENCO's Power Generation Stations along with spares / consumables, special tools and tackles as prescribed in the bid documents and 2 years annual maintenance.

Cost of the bid document: Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only)

4.0 Qualifying requirements are as under ;
4.1 The bidder shall provide satisfactory evidence that:
(a) His product is a proven branded product, which are volume produced and are used by a large number of users in India / abroad.
(b) He should be a manufacturer or authorized dealer / distributor of brands namely HCL / IBM / Lenovo / HP / Compaq only, of PCs & Server.
(c) He should have fully functional service centers in at least one location in each of the regions namely Mumbai, Nasik, Nagpur, Kolhapur and Aurangabad.
4.2 The bidder should be a manufacturer as per clause (a) & (b) and have service centers as per clause (c) of 4.1 above or an authorized dealer / representative of such manufacturer who is fulfilling condition of clause (a), (b) and (c) of 4.1 above. The bidder who is not a manufacturer, should submit authorization certificate.
4.3 Bidders as per above should have a minimum turnover of Rs.2 crores from the business of computer related hardware supply in the year 2003-04, and should be in profit.
5.0 The bidders shall be required to submit Bid security equivalent of Rs.1,94,000/- (Rupees One lakh ninty four thousand only) in case / DD at cash section on 2nd floor, Prakashgad prior to the submission of the bid and copy of the receipt should be enclosed in the Technical bid of the tender document.
6.0 The bidder shall be required to submit a contract performance security for 10% of the contract price in the event of contract being awarded to him.
7.0 The bidder shall be required to keep his offer valid for acceptance for atleast 180 days from the date of bid opening.
8.0 Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from inspect the bidding documents at, or obtain from the office of Chief General Manager (Gen. Works) at the address given below from 1400 hrs. to 1600 hrs. on all working days between the days mentioned above on payment of the specified amount by crossed Demand Draft payable to Chief Accounts Officer, Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd., Prakashgad, 2nd Floor, Bandra (East), Mumbai-400 051 and furnishing the cash receipt to Chief General Manage (Gen. Works) with a requisition for bid documents giving complete postal address of the bidder.
9.0 MAHAGENCO does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any of the bids. MAHAGENCO reserves the right to reject any bids or all bids without assigning any reasons.
