Alternative offer for

Design, supply, providing, erection, testing and commissioning of ‘Rope Drum Hoists’ with embedded Parts and including all electrical and mechanical  equipments and accessories etc. for radial gates of Paras Barrage for  Thermal Power Station Expansion Project (1x250 MW) at Paras Tq.Balapur Dist. Akola (Maharashtra State)

(A)                      The Pre qualification Conditions are modified as below:

Prequalifying Condition No.1 :

The tenderer and / or his consortium partner should have good reputation and consistent track record in the field of design, manufacture and supply, testing and commissioning of ‘ Rope Drum Hoists’ and should be in this field for not less than last ten years.  The  Rope drum hoists supplied, erected & commissioned by the tenderer for Radial / vertical gates of spillway  at least for two projects shall be in trouble free operation satisfactorily at least for last 3 years. The tenderer should submit the documentary evidence or certificates from the client not below the rank of Ex. Engineer to establish above. 

Prequalifying  Condition No.2 :

The lead partner in consortium should have executed successfully and satisfactorily, under a single contract during the period of last ten years, the work of design,

supply, providing, erection, testing and commissioning of ‘Rope Drum Hoists’ of minimum 60 Tons capacity for each radial gate / vertical gate and the Rope Drum Hoist commissioned should be in trouble free operation since its commissioning.            

Prequalifying Condition No.3 :

The average annual turnover of the tenderer during the last 3 years shall not be less than  Rs.4.2 Crores.

(B)       Also the date of  sale and date of submission of bid   are  modified as below.

(i)                  Date of issue/sale of tenders upto 26-09-2005.

(ii)        Tenders (Cover No.I & Cover No.II) duly filled in as per the procedure stipulated in the tender documents sealed and superscribed  will be received on  30-09-2005  upto to 13.00 Hrs.

            Except to the above modifications the tender notice will remain unchanged.
