TENDER NOTICE

TENDER SPECIFICATION NO. CEC/Gen .I/New Parli Extn./GSR, ESR & Allied works/T-409/2005-06

1.00 Sealed and superscribed Percentage rate tenders in two separate sealed covers are invited by The Chief Engineer (C)Gen-I Mumbai from the reputed and experienced bidders with the prequalifying requirements as under for the following work at New Parli Extn. Thermal Power Project, District - Beed (M.S.)

NAME OF THE WORK :- New Parli T.P.S. Extn. Project (1x250MW) – Construction of elevated service reservoir, ground storage reservoir, septic tanks, laying of water supply lines sanitary / sewage lines (main & distributory) pump house other allied works, including design, drawing, laying, testing and commissioning etc. complete for New Parli Extn. Project staff colony at Parli Vaijnath in District Beed (M.S.)

ESTIMATED COST:- Rs. 73,52,090/-

EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT:- Rs. 73,525/-

TIME LIMIT :- Eight months (including monsoon) (4 months for GSR & water supply & chainage system, 8 months for ESR)

SECURITY DEPOSIT:- 5% (five) of the contract value.

2.0 PRE-QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS :-

2.1 The tenderer shall be registered in the appropriate class in Government / Public Sector undertaking.

2.2 The tenderer should have satisfactorily executed under a single contract during the preceeding five years, work of similar nature including design & drawing i.e. ESR having capacity one lakh litres with staging of columns & bracing beams GSR and Pump House and pipe line and having a completed value not less than Rs. 73,52,090.00.

The average annual turnover of the tenderer during the preceeding three years (i.e. 2001 - 2002 to 2003 - 2004) in executing the work of similar nature including design & drawing i.e. ESR having capacity one lakh litres with staging of columns & bracing beams GSR and Pump House and pipe line shall not be less than Rs. 73,52,090/-.

2.3 The tenderer should have enclosed the certificate of the competent authority, regarding satisfactory functioning & scheme of water supply of similar nature at least for last two years along with tender purchase application.

3.0 DOCUMENTS :-

3.1 The tenderer shall furnish necessary documents (original/attested copy) in support of prequalifying criteria specified under 2.00 above, alongwith the application for purchasing the tender.

3.2 BLANK Tender documents can be obtained by intending tenderers in person against written application during working days upto 16.00 hours from 01.09.2005 to 17.09.2005 from the Office of The Chief Engineer (C)Gen-I, M.S.P.G.C.LTD., Estrella Batteries Expansion Building, Ist Floor, Dharavi Road Matunga Mumbai-400 019, alongwith a non refundable payment of Rs.5000/- only by Demand Draft, drawn on any nationalised / scheduled Bank Payable at Mumbai in favour of Maharashtra State Power Gen.Co.Ltd. towards the issue of a set of Blank tender Documents. Blank tender documents will not be sent by Post / Courier.

Additional copy of the tender documents shall be issued for Rs.2000/- each, if desired which, however, shall be marked as ‘Extra Copy’ and shall not be valid for tendering. Tenders (Cover No.I & Cover No.II) duly filled in as per the procedure stipulated in the tender document Sealed and Superscribed, will be received on 22.09.2005 upto 13.00 hrs. at Conference Hall, Gen-P&P Section, Third Floor, Prakashgad, Bandra (East), Mumbai and Cover No.1 (pre-qualifying documents) will be opened at 14.30 hours on the same day, if possible, in the presence of such of the tenderers or their authorised representative. In case the above dates happens to be a Public Holiday, the immediate next working day will hold good in lieu of the date mentioned. Tenders shall be submitted only in person. Tenders sent by post / courier will not be accepted.

The right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever is reserved by the Board.

Note:- If it is found that the agency has submitted forged documents regarding pre qualifying requirements, strict action will be taken as per rules.
